Egg with Salmon Bake Recipe

Ingredients

 

egg - 8, large

can salmon - 1 can, drained, flaked and bones removed

milk - 1/2 cup

sour cream - 1 cup

onion - 1/4 cup, chopped

tomato-based salsa - 1 1/4 cup

corn - 1 can, drained

plain flour/all purpose flour - 1/2 cup

baking powder - 2 1/2 tsp

Monterey Jack cheese - 1 cup, shredded

cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded

garlic powder - 1/2 tsp

pimento - 1/4 cup, chopped

pepper and salt - to taste

 

Method

 

Preheat oven to 175˚C/350˚F. Grease a 13x9x2x inch baking dish, set aside.

Whisk eggs, then add milk, sour cream, flour, baking powder, salsa, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Mix well.

Pour in salmon, corn, Jack cheese, pimento, and onion.

Next, pour into prepared pan and sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.

Bake 45-60 minutes until set and lightly golden brown. Serves 12.
