Ingredients

 

fruits - any fruits (apple, pineapple, peach, strawberry, etc)

whole meal self-raising flour - 1/4 cup

self-raising flour - 1/4 cup

egg white - 2

honey - 2 tbsp

margarine - 90g

rolled oats - 3/4 cup

low fat natural yogurt - 1 tbsp

Method

 

Preheat oven to 180˚C. Grease base and sides of shallow square cake tin.

Mix together oats, flours, and fruits in a bowl.

Mix the honey and melt margarine in a saucepan. Then add into the flours mixture and add yogurt. Mix well.

Beat the egg white until foamy and light, fold through to flour mix.

Spread the mixture into the cake tin and bake for 30 minutes. Cool.

Cut into squares and store in airtight container. Makes 16.
