Ingredients

large cooking apple - 4

red cabbage - 700g, chopped

onions - 3, chopped

caraway seeds - 3 tbsp

fennel bulbs - 2, chopped

natural yogurt - 350ml

creamed horseradish sauce - 2 tbsp

ground black pepper and salt
Method

Preheat the oven to 150˚C. Shred
the cabbage, discarding tough stalks. Mix with the caraway
seeds, fennel and onions in a bowl. Peel, core and chop the
apples and stir them into the cabbage mixture. Transfer the
ingredients the a casserole dish.

mix the yogurt with the creamed
horseradish sauce, stir them into the casserole, season with
pepper and salt and cover tightly.

Bake them for 90 minutes, stirring
once or twice during cooking. Serve hot. Serves 5-6.
