Cheese Potatoes Soup Recipe

Ingredients

 

potatoes - 6, peeled and sliced

cheddar cheese - 2 cup, grated

whole milk - 3 cup

water - 3 cup

white onion - 1, medium, sliced

garlic - 1 clove, large

butter - 3 tbsp

salt - to taste

 

Method

 

First, melt butter in a soup pot, fry the onions for 3 minutes (do not let the onion brown).

Add in garlic, sauté for another 2 minutes.

Add in the potatoes and water. Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender.

Mix vigorously then add milk and spices.

Cook until the milk begin to simmer over medium heat, add cheese and stir until it melt. (do not boil vigorously because the cheese will sticks to bottom)

Serve hot together with sourdough bread. Serves 4-6.
