Chinese Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients

  • Brussels sprouts - 500g

  • Chinese five-spice powder - 1 tsp

  • spring onions - 2, sliced

  • sesame oil - 2 tsp

  • light soy sauce - 1 tbsp

Method

  • Trim the Brussels sprouts, shred them finely.

  • Heat the oil, add the sprouts and spring onions, stir-fry for few minutes, without allowing the mixture to brown.

  • Stir in the five-spice powder and soy sauce, stir for 3 minutes and cook until just tender. Serve hot with other dishes. Serves 4.
