This is one important practice that most parents have overlooked - the need to prepare their child's milk in a more hygienic way.
To practice good hygiene, washing your hands thoroughly is important to reduce the spread of germs from one person to another. Hygiene is especially important for anyone taking care of children and is one of the most effective ways of protecting the little ones from illness. Often, because of a lack of adequate hand washing by those who prepare food for children, food-borne illnesses contamination when preparing milk for your child.
Most common infections, especially colds, are easily spread when germs are transferred onto your hands. Through out the day, we tend to accumulate germs on our hands through direct contact with others. contaminated surfaces, food and caste. If you don't wash your hands frequently, you may even spread the germs to others by touching them or when preparing food for them. That's why we need to keep our hands as clean as possible.
So never neglect this import practice of keeping your hands clean before preparing milk for your children especially after using toilet, after handling cats or other pets and have been around someone who has flu. Don't forget to make sure the cup, milk bottle and the scoop must also be wash and clean each time before used.
