Cheese Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

 

small onion - 1, chopped

chives - 2 tsp, chopped

tomato paste - 2 tsp

coriander - 2 tsp, chopped

soy sauce - 2 tsp

lean beef mince - 250g

dried breadcrumbs - 1/4 cup

egg - 1, lightly beaten

low-fat cheese - 30g, grated

whole meal bun

 

Method

 

Mix egg, onion, mince beef, flavorings, herbs and cheese in a bowl, mix well.

Divide the mixture into eight equal potions.

Roll the mince potion in 1/2 extra breadcrumbs, then press mixture into beaten egg.

Cook the mixture in a pan over high heat for 2-3 minutes each side. Drain on absorbent paper.

Place the burger on the bun and top with sliced lettuce, sliced cucumber and tomato. Serve.
