Chickpea Patties and Salad Recipe

Ingredients

 

spring onion - 1, chopped

mixed green salad

cooking oil - 2 tsp

garlic powder - 1/4 tsp

canned chickpea - 3/4 cup, drained

cornflakes crumbs - 2 tbsp

parsley - 1 tsp, chopped

low-fat yogurt - 1 tbsp

whole meal pitta - 1

 

Method

 

Place the chickpeas in blender with yogurt, blend until smooth and transfer into bowl.

Add spring onion, garlic powder, and parsley. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into 2 patties, then roll in cornflakes crumbs.

Heat the oil, fry the patties until golden brown on both sides. Drain on absorbed paper. Cool.

Serve the patties together with the mixed salad and bread.
