Hawaiian Sandwiches Recipe

Ingredients

 

lean ham - 2 slices, halved

bread - 4 slices

pineapple in natural juice - 2 thin rings

banana - 1, halved, sliced

low-fat cheese - 2 slices, halved

 

Method

 

Preheat the sandwich maker. Brush margarine on one side of each bread.

Place 2 slices of bread (margarine-side down) in the sandwich maker.

Top with all ingredients, then put the remaining bread slices on top (margarine-side up).

Cook the bread for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted. Serve hot.

 

Preparation time: 15-20 minutes

Total cooking time: 2-3 minutes
