Steam Rice Recipe

Ingredients

 

rice - 2 1/4 cup

water - 2 1/2 cup

 

Method

 

Wash the rice in a large bowl with cold water, repeat washing until the water becomes almost clear.

Drain the water then place the rice in rice cooker, add water and start the cooker.

If you are using a pot to cook, put the rice and water in the pot, and cover with lid.

Bring to boil over high heat, then turn the heat low and cook for 20 minutes until water is almost gone.

Turn off the heat and let it steam for 15 minutes.

Steam rice is best serve with fried fish, grilled salmon, grilled chicken, boiled vegetables and so on.
