Ingredients

250 grams meat-filled tortellini

110 grams half cooked ham (diced)

1 onion (finely chopped)

100 ml double cream
-
1 cup of grano padano grated cheese

30 ml olive oil
-
150 ml passata (strained tomato)

salt and pepper to taste
Method

Cook the pasta to the right
softness, drain well and set aside.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan and
sauté the chopped onion for few minutes then add the diced ham
in and continue to cook for another 3 minutes.

Add the passata in and seasoning
to taste. Bring it to a boil then simmer for few minutes until
the sauce is slightly reduced. Stir in the cream and the pasta.

Add grano padano generously to the
dish and toss well to mix.

Top with more grated cheese and
serve warm.
