Serve this mild dip with fresh vegetable
crudités, it is particularly good with florets of cauliflower.
Ingredients

saffron strands - small pinch

fresh basil leaves - 10

fromage frais - 220g

fresh chives - 10

ground black pepper and salt

vegetable crudités - to serve
Method

First, pour 2 tbsp boiling water
into a small heatproof bowl, add the saffron strands and leave
to infuse for 4 minutes. Stirring occasionally.

Beat the fromage frais until it
smooth, stir in the infused saffron liquid.

Then, trim the chives in the dip,
tear the basil leaves into small pieces and stir them in.

Season with pepper and salt. Serve
with vegetable crudités. Serves 5.
